An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, creative, results-driven, and professional Maintenance &Utility Supervisor to join Rich's family. This great opportunity is best suited for an energetic and aspiring person who wants to be part of a global organization. Reporting directly to the Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will responsible to provide value added service to our customers and to promote sales and to cement business-partner relationship with our customers.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Maintenance Execution

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with

approved maintenance plans

• Ensure timely response and resolution of equipment breakdowns

• Monitor and control daily maintenance activities to meet operational targets

• Ensure proper documentation and closure of work orders in CMMS

2. Utility Operations Management

• Supervise operation and maintenance of utility systems, including:

Boilers and steam systems

Ammonia refrigeration system

Air compressors

HVAC systems

Water treatment plant

Waste water treatment plant

Electrical distribution systems

• Ensure reliability, efficiency, and continuous supply of utilities

3. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise and manage maintenance and utility technicians & engineers

• Assign daily work schedules and ensure quality of execution

• Monitor workforce discipline, attendance, and performance

• Provide coaching, training, and skill development to team members

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with internal Maintenance Team stakeholders to ensure smooth maintenance operations:

PM Planner: Execute maintenance schedules and provide feedback for improvement

Spare Parts Engineer: Ensure availability of required spare parts and materials

Maintenance Admin & Data Analyst: Ensure accuracy of maintenance data and reporting

Maintenance & Utility Technicians and Engineers: Support troubleshooting, RCA, and improvement initiatives

5. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement

• Lead first-level troubleshooting activities for equipment failures

• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve

reliability and reduce downtime

6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures

• Enforce Permit to Work (PTW), Lock-Out Tag-Out Try-Out (LOTOTO), and safe work practices

• Promote a strong safety culture within the team

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards

7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor key maintenance KPIs, including downtime, breakdowns, MTTR, MTBF and PM compliance

• Prepare and submit regular performance reports

• Provide feedback and recommendations to Assistant Maintenance Manager

Competencies

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Understanding of utility systems (boilers, compressors, refrigeration system, HVAC, water treatment systems, wastewater treatment plant)

• Familiarity with CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo)

• Basic PLC troubleshooting is an advantage

Leadership & Behavioural Competencies

• Strong team leadership and supervision skills

• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking

• High level of accountability and discipline

• Ability to work under pressure

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic/Chemical Industry/Environmental Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in utility operations or maintenance in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Experience handling WTP, WWTP, refrigeration systems, compressors, boilers, and pumps are highly preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Familiar with preventive maintenance systems and utility equipment operations
