PT Medco Geothermal Sarulla (MGS), is one of subsidiary of Medco Power Indonesia (MPI) based in Tarutung, North Sumatera is looking for professionals with the following qualifications:
Job Description :
- Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
- Inspect, test, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, PLC, DCS, SCADA and communication systems.
- Perform maintenance and monitoring of generators, excitation systems, transformers, protection relays and 150 kV switchyard equipment.
- Execute maintenance work orders in accordance with CMMS schedules, maintenance procedures and OEM recommendations.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report abnormalities that may affect plant safety, reliability or availability.
- Support startup, shutdown, commissioning, testing and recommissioning activities of plant equipment and systems.
- Perform functional testing of control systems, protection systems, interlocks and safety devices to ensure proper operation.
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and verify contractor and vendor activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, calibration documentation, technical reports and equipment history data.
- Comply with all company HSE requirements, including Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and other safety procedures.
- Perform emergency call-out duties and provide technical support during equipment failures or plant disturbances.
- Maintain tools, testing equipment and calibration instruments in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the E&I Supervisor or Maintenance Management.
Job Qualification :
- Minimum Graduate of Diploma 3 Degree preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, instrumentation engineering, automation engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power generation, geothermal, oil & gas, mining or heavy industrial facilities.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
- Experience working with high voltage systems is preferred.
- Experience with DCS and PLC systems is preferred.
- Experience in geothermal power plants is an advantage.
- Good planning and computer programming skills;
- Good communication and reporting skills both verbal and in writing, specifically in English language;
- Having experiences in multi-national project development performed in various countries is desirable but not essential;
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary;
- Willingness to travel and relocate in Tarutung, North Sumatra;
- Multi-cultural knowledge and working experience.
