Happy Hope Preschool

We're growing, and we'd love to welcome a passionate, patient, and nurturing Main Teacher to the Happy Hope Preschool family.

At Happy Hope, we believe the early years are about more than academic development. We want children to grow with curiosity, confidence, good manners, strong character, and a love for learning. Our approach combines fitrah-based education, Islamic values, play-based learning, and an international curriculum.

Qualifications

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early years setting.
3. Experience with or knowledge of international curricula, preferably IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum), IB, and/or play-based learning.
4. A practicing Muslim with good adab and akhlaq, and the ability to naturally incorporate Islamic values into daily learning and interactions.
5. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
6. Warm, patient, responsible, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about working with young children.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with IEYC and Islamic principles, including Tawhid.
2. Observe, assess, and document each child's learning and development.
3. Create a safe, nurturing, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
4. Work closely with Teacher Assistants to ensure smooth classroom routines and meaningful learning experiences.
5. Build positive and professional relationships with parents and communicate regularly about children's development.
6. Prepare student progress reports and conduct effective Parent-Teacher Conferences.
7. Organize learning centers, classroom materials, and activities that encourage both independent and guided learning.
8. Contribute to curriculum planning, school events, and school-wide programs.
9. Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and in-house training.
10. Support the development of children's fitrah, including their emotional, social, moral, and spiritual growth.
11. Model good adab, akhlaq, and Islamic values in daily interactions with children, colleagues, and parents.
