Logistics Specialist - Senior Associate, Cross Border eCommerce

- JP SLS Operations Ownership
- Monitor daily logistics performance from JP local first-mile pick up/Transit warehouse/Freight shipping to destination countries/Import customs clearance/last-mile delivery and proactively resolve operational issues across the shipment lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to ensure stable operations and service quality.
- Operational Excellence & Performance Management
- Analyze operational KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Track performance trends and implement action plans to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Vendor Performance Management
- Own day-to-day vendor management and maintain strong operational relationships with logistics partners.
- Monitor vendor KPI/SLA performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, establish, and continuously improve operational SOPs and governance processes.
- Logistics Strategy & Vendor Development
- Support RFQ projects through vendor sourcing, market benchmarking, capability assessment, and commercial evaluation.
- Evaluate new logistics solutions and identify opportunities to optimize network performance and cost.
- Customs & Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor customs and regulatory changes affecting cross-border logistics in Japan.
- Lead implementation of new regulatory requirements and drive process improvements to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in cross-border logistics, e-commerce logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end international B2C logistics operations, including warehouse, customs clearance, linehaul, and last-mile delivery.
- Proven experience managing logistics vendors and driving operational performance through KPI and SLA management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
- Hands-on experience in process improvement, workflow automation, or operational efficiency initiatives, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Experience leveraging AI tools, automation, or data-driven solutions to streamline operations, improve productivity, and support decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across regional and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets experience with data analysis and KPI reporting is preferred.
- Business-level English is required.
- Business-level Korean is preferred.
