Job Description
Adecco Indonesia is representing a leading global technology and telecommunications company for a Logistics Manager to support logistics fulfillment and operations for its Indonesia operations. This role covers warehousing, transportation, reverse logistics, and project logistics support, working closely with regional logistics managers and delivery project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage short- to mid-term logistics resource requirements for the region, ensuring warehousing, transportation, and control tower capabilities meet delivery project needs
- Take charge of logistics fulfillment and operations management, including warehousing management, transportation and reverse logistics management, CIAG (Consistency of Inventory Accounts and Goods), security management, and internal control compliance
- Ensure timely, accurate, and secure logistics services at optimal cost to meet delivery requirements and customer satisfaction
- Support project teams or logistics managers in developing project logistics solutions, including on-site implementation, business trip support, and coordination when issues arise, to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage logistics supplier performance, communication, process and IT training/enablement, review of logistics expense payments, and business compliance within the region
- Support logistics risk mitigation for secure, continuous, low-risk operations (hazardous goods, warehousing security, transportation security, disaster response, etc.)
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any major
- At least 3 years of work experience, including 1 year in international trade and logistics, and at least 1 year in a junior/mid-level managerial position at a large or medium-sized enterprise
- Good command of basic telecommunications knowledge
- Solid knowledge of warehousing and transportation fulfillment management and reverse logistics management
- Working knowledge of international trade, orders, and logistics (customs, warehousing, transportation, reverse logistics, etc.), plus basic financial management knowledge
- Customer-centric with empathy; strong communication and coordination skills; goal- and result-oriented with strong execution
- Data collection and analytics capability; risk identification and handling skills
- Must be proficient in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Chinese
- Strong foundation in supply chain management, operational management, and logistics management
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
