About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistic Specialist / Supervisor to support and manage daily logistics operations, transportation coordination, and shipment planning to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the loading, transportation, and unloading of goods.
- Arrange product pickups and deliveries with barge and transportation companies according to customer schedules.
- Plan and optimize shipment routes to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Monitor the movement, storage, and handling of materials to ensure safe and efficient logistics operations.
- Conduct logistics cost analysis and negotiate transportation or material costs with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare and manage logistics documents, contracts, invoices, and payment processes.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with company procedures and operational standards.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and transportation partners.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management with full responsibility and dedication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Experience handling transportation arrangements, shipment coordination, and logistics documentation.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, cost control, and vendor coordination.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred. Able to speak Mandarin is a plus.
