About the role

We are looking for a Lender Negotiation Specialist to negotiate settlement terms directly with banks, multifinance companies, and P2P/pinjol lenders. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong Collection/Recovery background, proven negotiation experience, and an established lender network, particularly within banking.

Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) from any relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Collection, Recovery, Remedial, Debt Settlement, Loan Settlement, or a similar role.
• Strong experience in direct negotiation with lenders.
• Established and verifiable network within the lending/collection ecosystem, with strong preference for candidates who have an existing banking network, particularly contacts within Collection, Recovery, or Remedial teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close settlement cases.
• Good understanding of the Indonesian lending and collection ecosystem.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
• Comfortable working with targets, high-volume cases, and pressure.
• Own a personal vehicle and hold a valid SIM C (SIM A is a plus).
• Willing to travel to lender offices across Jabodetabek and other cities when required.
• English proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end negotiations with banks, multifinance companies, and P2P/pinjol lenders.
• Negotiate principal reductions, interest waivers, penalty eliminations, and settlement timelines.
• Communicate and build relationships with lender Collection, Recovery, Remedial, and Legal teams.
• Follow up and close settlement cases efficiently while balancing settlement speed and discount quality.
• Handle escalations and challenging lender situations professionally.
• Visit lender offices for face-to-face negotiations when required.
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations, offers, counter-offers, and final settlements.
• Track lender settlement patterns and discount levels based on DPD to improve negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams on settlement planning and complex cases.
• Prepare regular reports on settlement progress and negotiation outcomes.
