About the Role
We are looking for a Legal & Regulatory Affairs Lead to support the expansion of Flip Group's payment services businesses from online acquiring into offline acquiring. This role will play a critical part in enabling new business initiatives while ensuring strong legal governance across day-to-day operations, partnerships, and regulated activities.
What We're Looking For:
Strategic Partnership for New Business Development (Offline Machines)
- Asset Acquisition: draft, review, and negotiate high-value procurement or lease
- agreements for hardware or devices, including supply chain logistics, and quality assurance warranties.
- Third Party Strategic Partnership: draft, review and negotiate with third party partners who own a network of retail chains across various regions.
- Liability Framework: establish legal protocols for all the legal and operational working processes
- Partnership Management: assist the business team in all negotiations with third party partners.
Core Operational Excellence
- Contract Lifecycle: manage the drafting and review of all commercial contracts, including inter-affiliate and vendor agreements, NDAs, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), partnership and MOUs.
- Corporate Secretarial: supervise corporate filings, NIB updates via OSS RBA, and maintain the company's legal database
- Labor & Employment: provide legal guidance on HR matters, including employment contracts, outsourcing regulations, and internal company regulations (PP/PKB).
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Compliance Regulatory Filling: liaise and assist with the Compliance Team in the submission processes of regular reporting to the relevant authorities
- Data Privacy: ensure that the practice of data handling in complies with the Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law, including user consent flows and hardware-level encryption standards
- IP Protection: manage the registration and enforcement of trademarks, patents, and copyrights related to the company's proprietary hardware and software
What You'll Need:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law (SH) from a reputable university. A Master's degree or LLM is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 68 years of experience, ideally with a mix of a top-tier law firm and an in-house role in fintech, payment services provider (penyedia jasa pembayaran) IoT, or a hardware-heavy tech company.
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of OSS RBA and Indonesian licensing laws
- General corporate and investment laws
- Sufficient knowledge of data protection and consumers laws
- Having experience in the procurement/supply chain law is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills with both local vendors and international suppliers
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
- Peradi licensed
