About The Role

We are looking for a Legal Manager to lead and strengthen our legal, compliance, and governance functions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting business growth through strategic legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance

  • Ensure the validity and completeness of all company licenses and permits
  • Initiate and manage regulatory licensing requirements
  • Prepare and submit investment and corporate reports to government authorities

Contract & Document Management

  • Draft, review, and update product Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
  • Standardize and manage company contracts
  • Review contracts requested by internal stakeholders

Litigation, Fraud & Non-Compliance Handling

  • Manage and oversee litigation, fraud, and compliance-related cases
  • Ensure proper investigation and legal follow-up processes
  • Collaborate with Audit, Anti-Fraud, and other teams to mitigate legal risks
  • Provide strategic updates and recommendations to management

Governance & Company Administration

  • Ensure implementation of corporate governance in line with regulations
  • Oversee legal documentation and compliance reporting
  • Coordinate with notaries, external lawyers, regulators, and government institutions

Legal Strategy

  • Develop and execute legal strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management
  • Identify legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance in business decisions

People Management

  • Lead and manage the legal team
  • Allocate tasks and ensure timely project delivery
  • Monitor team performance and support individual development

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (S1 Hukum)
  • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Legal/Compliance or related field
  • Experience in handling contracts, litigation, and corporate compliance

Key Competencies

  • Solid understanding of legal & regulatory landscape, and knows how to apply it in real business situations
  • Confident, clear, and structured in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts end-to-end
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to handle ambiguity
  • Able to balance compliance with business agility
  • Detail-oriented, with a sharp eye for risks and inconsistencies
  • Sound judgment with a practical, solution-first approach to problem solving
  • Able to communicate and influence stakeholders effectively (not just advise, but drive decisions)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
