Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly capable Legal Manager with a strong background in the insurance industry to join our growing team. This role will also oversee Corporate Secretary functions and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support across all business functions, particularly related to insurance operations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations set by relevant regulators
  • Manage corporate legal matters, including governance, licensing, and regulatory reporting
  • Oversee Corporate Secretary responsibilities, including Board of Directors and Shareholders meetings (RUPS), documentation, and filings
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and relevant stakeholders
  • Identify legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate them

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in legal roles within the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and corporate law
  • Experience handling Corporate Secretary functions
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
