We are currently seeking a highly capable Legal Manager with a strong background in the insurance industry to join our growing team. This role will also oversee Corporate Secretary functions and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support across all business functions, particularly related to insurance operations
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations set by relevant regulators
- Manage corporate legal matters, including governance, licensing, and regulatory reporting
- Oversee Corporate Secretary responsibilities, including Board of Directors and Shareholders meetings (RUPS), documentation, and filings
- Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and relevant stakeholders
- Identify legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate them
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's degree is a plus)
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in legal roles within the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and corporate law
- Experience handling Corporate Secretary functions
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
