We are looking for a highly capable and commercially minded senior legal counsel to join our legal team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will serve as a trusted business partner, not a back-office function. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to navigate legal complexity while enabling the business to move with confidence.

Job Descriptions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and operational contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice on regulatory matters, compliance requirements, and legal developments relevant to the business.
- Identify, assess, and communicate legal risks associated with business initiatives, partnerships, and transactions—and propose actionable mitigation strategies.
- Support day-to-day legal operations across multiple business units, including commercial, product, procurement, and corporate affairs.
- Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of external legal support.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on complex or emerging issues and translate findings into clear, business-ready guidance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard contract templates, legal policies, and internal legal playbooks.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from an accredited university; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- A licensed advocate (PERADI) is a plus, but not mandatory.
Experience
- 4 – 5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in a corporate legal department, law firm, or a combination of both.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements across various industries.
- Exposure to Indonesian regulatory frameworks; experience in fintech, technology, or consumer sectors is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, well-structured legal work.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines without close supervision.
- Collaborative mindset with the maturity to engage confidently with senior leadership and external counterparts.
