About The Role
Enable accurate internal classification and uniformity of leaf classes by applying expert grading skills, sample preparation and training capabilities, farmer insight gathering, and strict compliance with NTRM/mixed‑bale/social responsibility standards.
Available location: Bondowoso, Madura, Bojonegoro, Ngoro and Lumajang.
Key Tasks
Classification & Grading Excellence
- Ensure uniformity of internal classes by auditing classifications, resolving discrepancies, and coaching teams to the standard.
- Apply green tobacco grading criteria accurately and consistently for reclassification and purchase support.
Training, Samples & Customer Exposure
- Prepare representative sample sets for training and customer viewing; design short modules and mentoring sessions that drive consistent classification.
Field Intelligence
- Conduct farmer visits and produce qualitative estimates that inform operational decisions and classification adjustments
Compliance & Ethical Conduct
- Promote awareness and adherence to NTRM (Non‑Tobacco Related Material), mixed bale, and social responsibility (quality, environment, health & safety) policies.
- Uphold the Code of Conduct and comply with regulations in every activity.
Operational Hygiene & Flexibility
- Maintain workplace hygiene to legal and internal standard
- Perform off‑season and nationwide tasks effectively per Head Station guidance
Qualifications, Skills, Experience Required
- Graduation in Agronomy (or equivalent relevant background).
- Preferably having 2+ years of leaf experience in the tobacco industry.
- English – Intermediate (writing and speaking).
- Knowledge of green tobacco grading criteria and internal grading systems.
- Knowledge of Ministry of Agriculture rules and tobacco purchase policies.
- Understanding of TPI ((Total Product Integrity), GAP (Good Agricultural Practice), ALP (Agricultural Labor Practices), STP (Sustainable Tobacco Program) standards.
- Licenses for motorcycle and car operation.
