About The Role
Enable accurate, ethical, and high‑quality green tobacco purchasing by applying strong grading expertise, farmer relationship skills, compliance knowledge, and field assessment capabilities. Support operational needs across Indonesia as required by the Head Station.
Available location: Bondowoso, Madura, Bojonegoro, Ngoro and Lumajang.
Key Tasks
Tobacco Grading & Purchase Execution
- Grade green tobacco accurately using internal and company-defined criteria to support fair and consistent purchasing.
- Ensure NTRM free and compliant purchases, including identification of mixed bales and promotion of correct handling practices.
Farmer Engagement & Service Excellence
- Provide respectful, transparent, and fair service to farmers during purchase and marketing processes, including resolving disagreements professionally.
- Strengthen farmer relationships by delivering guidance aligned with the company's social responsibility standards.
Field Insights & Qualitative Assessment
- Conduct farmer visits to gather qualitative estimates and insights for planning and operational decisions.
Workplace Hygiene & Operational Readiness
- Maintain workplace hygiene according to legal and internal standards, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
Compliance & Ethical Practices
- Promote awareness and adherence to policies on NTRM (Non‑Tobacco Related Material), mixed tobacco bales, quality, environment, health, and safety.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct in alignment with the company's Code of Conduct and Compliance regulations.
Seasonal & Nationwide Support
- Perform additional tasks during off season periods as directed by the Head Station.
- Support operational activities across Indonesia when required.
Qualifications
- Graduation in Agronomy (or equivalent relevant background).
- Preferably having Strong experience in the tobacco industry and farmer engagement or leaf purchasing environments (5+ years).
- Basic English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of green tobacco grading criteria and internal grading systems.
- Knowledge of Ministry of Agriculture rules and tobacco purchase policies.
- Understanding of TPI ((Total Product Integrity), GAP (Good Agricultural Practice), ALP (Agricultural Labor Practices), STP (Sustainable Tobacco Program) standards.
- Licenses for motorcycle and car operation.
