Role Description The Leader Cafe Excelso Lombok is a full-time, on-site role based in Lombok Epicentrum Mall, responsible for overseeing daily café operations. This role includes supervising café team members, organizing work schedules, and ensuring consistent, high-quality food and beverage service. The leader monitors product quality, implements food safety and hygiene standards, and coordinates inventory and ordering of supplies. Daily tasks also involve guiding the team in delivering excellent customer service, handling guest feedback or complaints, and supporting sales and promotional activities. The role requires hands-on involvement on the floor, maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment, and collaborating with management to achieve operational and financial targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Food Preparation and Food Service to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of menu items.
  • Solid understanding of Food Safety and hygiene standards, with the ability to implement and monitor best practices in the café.
  • Proven Customer Service skills, including handling feedback, resolving issues, and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant setting.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role in hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by café operations.
  • Basic numerical and administrative skills for handling cash, simple reporting, and stock control.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or F&B-related education is an advantage.
