The Project Management Lead is responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives. This role translates product vision and technical priorities into structured execution plans while overseeing delivery across both internal engineering teams and external specialists.
As the operational owner of delivery, you will establish a disciplined execution framework, manage delivery governance, proactively identify risks, and ensure alignment among cross-functional stakeholders. You will work closely with the CEO, CTO, Product, and Engineering leaders to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered with quality and predictability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from project planning through implementation, testing, and final acceptance.
- Develop and maintain realistic delivery roadmaps, ensuring milestones, timelines, and dependencies are clearly defined and achieved.
- Drive delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate execution across internal engineering teams, specialist contractors, and freelance resources to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Define clear delivery objectives and acceptance criteria in partnership with Product and Engineering leaders, ensuring completion standards are consistently met.
- Monitor project health by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating issues early with actionable mitigation plans.
- Track delivery progress through metrics and reporting, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Foster accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the delivery organization.
- Act as the primary delivery partner to executive leadership, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience delivering software products, including at least 3 years in a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software products involving multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with hands-on experience using tools such as Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing distributed engineering teams, including external vendors, contractors, or freelance resources.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and delivery commitments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within e-commerce, digital platforms, messaging solutions, or conversational AI environments.
- Exposure to delivering AI/ML, data analytics, or intelligent automation products.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices and modern engineering workflows.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent project delivery credentials.
