Lead Project Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Lead Project Engineer to ensures that all engineering and project activities are safe, efficient, and fully aligned with internal business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The position is also responsible for developing engineering standards and managing improvement initiatives to support the long-term performance and reliability of company facilities.

Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of comprehensive engineering and project support services that are:

• Safe for personnel, equipment, and the environment
• In line with customer needs and business objectives
• Compliant with regional and national regulations
• Aligned with applicable engineering standards and codes
• Cost-effective and operationally efficient

Provide engineering deliverables to internal and external clients, including:

• Technical support and engineering advice
• Engineering and construction work packages
• Project planning and execution support

Oversee the development and regular review of engineering discipline standards, such as:

• Design criteria
• Engineering standards and specifications
• Drawing standards

Maintain and improve engineering design and calculation tools.

Lead process improvement initiatives for project design and engineering operations.

Promote a strong organizational culture based on professional ethics, safety, and compliance.

Directs safety issues within the division to comply with international standards such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 50001, and ISO 55000.

Performs additional duties as required by business needs.

Execute and fulfill the stipulations outlined in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK2, SMK3, PROPER, and EBTKE Subroto Award to ensure comprehensive compliance and adherence to established standards and awards in the areas of environmental management, occupational health and safety, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree (S1) in Civil Engineering.

Experiences:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in upstream oil and gas, geothermal, or related energy industries.
• Experience in design and construction of civil infrastructure and facilities. Having experience in geohazard measures is preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience in engineering and construction with working knowledge in operation and maintenance.
• Strong background in managing and executing engineering and construction projects and in-depth knowledge in international code and standards, and Indonesia National Standards for engineering design and construction.
• Experienced in preparing technical reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineer (Ir.) and/or project management certification is an advantage.
