Flip for Business is our B2B platform powering money movement for thousands of Indonesian companies. It spans Money Transfer, Accept Payment, International Transfer, and a growing offline merchant acquiring offering.
We're hiring a Lead PM to own strategy and execution across multiple Business Solutions streams while managing a small team of PMs. This is a hybrid IC-plus-manager role: you'll drive some high-stakes projects/streams by yourself, set direction for the rest, and grow the PMs around you.
About Flip
Flip was founded in 2015 by three friends from Universitas Indonesia — Rafi, Luqman, and Anjar — with the goal of making money transfers fairer for Indonesians. Today, millions of individuals and businesses trust Flip to send trillions of rupiah across banks every year.
We're backed by leading investors such as Sequoia India, Insight Partners, and Insignia, and our mission is simple: to give Indonesians access to one of the most progressive and fairest financial services in the world.
At Flip, we always strive to provide the fairest place for you to work, learn, and grow with talented and fun people in various opportunities to advance your career and get fair rewards. We believe that we have to treat employees, customers, and all stakeholders fairly and respectfully. Fair treatment for employees means we establish clear goals, facilitate our employees to achieve them, and value their contribution to the company with equitable benefits.
What you'll do
- Strategy: Own OKRs and the roadmap across your streams; lead cross-pod prioritization and make (and defend) the hard trade-offs. Surface strategic risks early with a proposed path forward.
- Growth: Identify new opportunities — payment methods, online and offline acceptance channels, cross-border corridors, pricing and packaging — and respond to competitive and regulatory shifts.
- Delivery: Oversee complex products end-to-end — directly and through your PMs — breaking ambiguous problems into well-scoped pieces and holding the bar on quality, reliability, and throughput.
- Data & tech: Set the standard for data-driven decisions and engage engineering credibly on rails, switching, settlement, and reconciliation trade-offs.
- Stakeholders: Drive alignment and decisions across Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Compliance, Ops, and Commercial; influence adjacent pods and find win-wins when teams disagree.
- People: Manage, mentor, and develop 1–3 PMs; own hiring and headcount planning for your pod.
What we're looking for
- 6–10 years in product management, with a track record of delivering complex, technical products at scale — ideally in fintech, payments, or B2B/API platforms.
- Strong IC foundation plus people leadership: you've owned a stream end-to-end and managed or mentored PMs. You can go deep on your own product while raising the bar for others.
- Strategic ownership: demonstrated ability to set OKRs and roadmaps across multiple streams, prioritize across competing demands, and make defensible trade-offs under moderate ambiguity.
- Delivery at scale: consistently ships high-impact products on time, breaks ambiguous problems into well-scoped work, and holds teams accountable for quality and throughput.
- Data fluency: comfortable running your own analysis, defining success metrics, and using data to drive decisions pre- and post-launch.
- Technical depth: conversant enough in payment rails, APIs, switching, settlement, and reconciliation to debate trade-offs credibly with engineering.
- Stakeholder & communication skills: able to align cross-functional partners and communicate complex ideas with nuance, up to executive level.
- Customer focus: draws insight from merchant and enterprise research, not just dashboards, and turns it into roadmap decisions.
- Domain experience : A strong differentiator would be hands-on exposure to any of the areas you'd work across — online payment acceptance , disbursement and money movement, cross-border payments , or offline merchant acquiring.
- Indonesian payments regulations & programs: familiarity with BI, OJK, PJP licensing, QRIS, BI-FAST, SNAP.
- Competitive context: understanding of how the B2B payments landscape is evolving in Indonesia and where Flip can differentiate.
