About the role
This is an exciting role requiring a strong background in curriculum and learning experience design. You will help to oversee the design and creation of Edukitas curriculum and corporate/online learning content, and work closely with other leaders in defining the long-term pedagogical vision of Edukita.
What you will do
- Manage and translate client briefs into executable lesson plans
- Oversee the production of content and lesson materials end-to-end for our online and corporate offerings, from ideation to content/lesson creation, under the guidance of the Division Head
- Oversee the quality/delivery of teaching instruction and day-to-day operations of both corporate/online classes, which includes: building relationships with teacher/students in class, evaluating student participation, and answering teacher/student questions
- Support longer-term education specific projects (e.g. creating syllabi, building leveling frameworks, etc), updating and involving our teams as needed
- Serve as a thought partner to our Division Head on how we can keep improving our teaching processes and curriculum, always keeping in mind what is best to drive lesson engagement and effectiveness
What you will need
- At least 4-6 years of working experience at a formal/informal educational institution
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in the design, development, and writing of curriculum and learning materials
- At least 2 years of people management experience
- Experience handling both corporate/adult and K-12 learning experiences
- Familiarity in working with and possibly coaching/briefing/directing teachers/ professionals
- Strong communication skills, especially in writing, and ability to express and break down complex topics clearly and simply
- High command of the English language
- Detail-oriented and with excellent organizational skills, whether its for content organization or managing your own workflow
- Interest in working in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment, which often requires you to go beyond a job description
