We are looking for a labor and employment legal professional to join the dynamic Legal Team in Traveloka. This is a critical role where you will help maintain workplace harmony across the group, ensuring full compliance with legal frameworks and industry standards. Your primary focus will be on Labor, Employment, and Industrial Relations.
This position reports directly to the Legal Manager and is based at the Traveloka office in BSD, Tangerang.
Job Description
- Provide strategic employment law advice on a wide range of advisory matters to key internal stakeholders;
- Support any stakeholders for any employment related matter within the group.
- Oversee and provide support for litigation and pre-litigation in relation to employment related matters;
- Advice on industrial relations and collective bargaining issues;
- Develop internal policy, guidelines and standards on employment matters for the region;
- Manage and oversee external counsel relationships;
- Conduct internal audits to proactively identify employment law compliance risks;
- Oversee documents submission to the relevant authorities in compliance with the employment law; and
- Draft formal legal letters in relation to employment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law from reputable universities.
- Minimum 5 years experience as employment counsel and/or industrial relations counsel position in a company or law firm.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end dispute resolutions, from handling internal employee grievances and conducting sensitive investigations to leading mediation processes.
- You know how to navigate and work closely your stakeholders, both internal and external networks.
- You thrive in high-pressure situations, possessing the crisis-management skills needed to guide the organization smoothly through employee relations issues.
- You possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, allowing you to assist for regional stakeholders and local teams alike.
