Lead Data Engineer

WE'RE HIRING — DATA LEAD

Insignia is looking for a Data Lead with a strong Engineering foundation — someone who doesn't just understand how to build pipelines, but has experience leading a team, managing multiple data sources at once, and exploring GenAI use cases for clients across Retail, FMCG, and Banking.

This role is based at our office in West Jakarta and will play a direct part in our growing data & AI projects.

What You'll Do

Lead end-to-end data engineering project delivery — from scoping to deployment, across web-based products and BI dashboards built on multiple integrated data sources

Handle and mentor the engineering team

Build data pipelines & architecture using Airflow, Spark, and Python

Explore and deliver GenAI-driven solutions to solve real business problems for our clients

Apply CI/CD best practices (Gitlab/Github) across the development process

Collaborate cross-functionally with BI (PowerBI/Looker/Metabase) and Data Science teams

Act as the technical representative in client discussions across industries

Who You Are

Senior with 4–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer/Data Lead

Have project experience in Retail, FMCG, or Banking

Experienced in handling/leading a team

Strong in Data Engineering: Airflow, Spark, Python, CI/CD, Gitlab/Github

Familiar with BI tools: PowerBI, Looker, or Metabase

Exposure to Data Science (modeling) and GenAI (LLM/RAG)
