Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Azure Logic Apps Architect / Technical Lead to lead enterprise integration architecture, cloud transformation, and migration initiatives. The role will be responsible for designing secure, scalable, highly available integration platforms and driving the modernization of legacy BizTalk Server environments to Azure Integration Services.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across global engineering teams, establish enterprise integration standards and governance, and guide complex integration projects involving SAP, MES, LIMS, SCADA, B2B, EDI, and other manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

Define and execute enterprise integration strategies using Azure Integration Services (AIS).
Design scalable and highly available cloud integration architectures aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
Establish architecture patterns covering message decoupling, fault tolerance, transaction isolation, dead-letter handling, retry mechanisms, and dynamic load management.
Define development standards, code-quality metrics, security practices, automated testing frameworks, and governance models.
Develop migration strategies and playbooks for transitioning legacy BizTalk Server environments to Azure.
Lead discovery, refactoring, migration, and decommissioning activities for legacy integration platforms.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
Conduct code reviews, architecture assessments, and technical design validations.
Identify and manage technical debt and recommend modernization approaches.
Conduct architecture and design workshops with enterprise vendors, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational technology teams.
Support project estimation, sprint planning, technical roadmaps, risk assessment, and post-implementation reviews.
Mentor developers and engineering teams on Azure integration architecture and best practices.

SAP & Enterprise Integration

Architect enterprise integrations with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Design high-volume integration pipelines using IDocs, OData, BAPIs, and related SAP integration technologies.
Establish secure and reliable data flows between SAP and enterprise applications.
Design integration architectures supporting manufacturing and operational technology environments.

Manufacturing & Industrial Integration

Architect integrations with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Design interfaces supporting SCADA networks, real-time tracking systems, and product serialization platforms.
Ensure integration architectures provide high availability, reliability, scalability, and secure data exchange.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate shop-floor and enterprise systems.

B2B & EDI Integration

Design and govern secure, highly available B2B integration platforms.
Develop enterprise EDI architecture supporting external supply-chain, logistics, manufacturing, and commercial partners.
Work with EDI protocols and secure communication mechanisms to support reliable partner data exchange.
Establish automated and scalable trading-partner onboarding processes.
Define security, monitoring, error handling, and operational standards for B2B integrations.

Cloud Migration & Modernization

Lead migration programs from BizTalk Server and other legacy middleware platforms to Azure Integration Services.
Assess existing integration architectures and identify modernization opportunities.
Define reusable migration patterns and frameworks.
Ensure migrated solutions meet enterprise security, performance, availability, and compliance requirements.
Drive cloud-native architecture adoption across integration platforms.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Extensive experience in Azure Integration Services and enterprise integration architecture.
Strong experience with Azure Logic Apps and related Azure integration technologies.
Proven experience leading enterprise-level cloud migration and integration programs.
Strong knowledge of BizTalk Server and BizTalk-to-Azure migration.
Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and/or SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, messaging, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with manufacturing system integrations such as MES, LIMS, SCADA, and serialization systems.
Experience designing B2B and EDI integration architectures.
Strong knowledge of cloud security, scalability, high availability, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
