Lead Android Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Lead technical planning and development of new features aligned with business priorities.
• Define and enforce best practices and architectural standards for Android development.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, UI/UX, QA) to ensure smooth integration and optimal user experience.
• Ensure compliance with Google Play Store guidelines and security/privacy standards.
• Proactively identify technical risks, resolve performance issues, and handle debugging and bug fixes.
• Develop and maintain the technical roadmap, proposing relevant and innovative technical solutions.

Competencies

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid technical expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
• Understanding of application security and data encryption (experience in crypto is a plus).
• Project management skills, including time management, resource planning, and meeting deadlines.
