Job Description

About Garden Group Bali

Garden Group Bali designs and builds landscapes for villa developers and hotels. Since 2022 we have completed 60+ projects across Southeast Asia, including work for ANTA Development and Surfside.

Every client gets a fixed estimate and a clear timeline before work starts. The project manager is the person who makes sure both hold on site.

The role

You run our landscape projects on site from contract to handover: people, materials, plants, budget and schedule. For the client you are the single point of contact on site. You report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities
  • Plan the works on each site and keep the schedule agreed with the client.
  • Lead field leads and crews: daily tasks, attendance, quality of planting, hardscape, irrigation and lighting works.
  • Order materials and equipment on time: soil, aggregates, stone, irrigation and lighting parts.
  • Source plants from growers in Bali and Java; check size, quality and quantity against the planting plan before delivery.
  • Keep the site and the plants in good condition until handover: watering, protection, replacement of losses.
  • Prepare BOQs and cost estimates from design drawings; track actual costs against the budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, main contractors and suppliers on site access, sequencing and interfaces.
  • Confirm every change agreed on site in writing to the client the same day. Work outside the contract starts only after a signed variation order.
  • Hand over completed works with acceptance documents and photo reports; send the CEO a weekly report on progress, costs and risks.
Requirements
  • 3+ years as a project manager or site manager in landscape or construction; villa or hotel projects preferred.
  • Experience joining an established site crew and getting your plan done through its mandor, without breaking the team.
  • Hands-on knowledge of tropical plants: what grows in coastal, highland and shaded conditions in Bali.
  • You read landscape and construction drawings (AutoCAD, SketchUp) and can build a BOQ in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Fluent Bahasa Indonesia. English good enough to write to clients and run a site meeting.
  • Own transport and a driving licence; ready to travel to sites across Bali and occasionally to other islands.
  • You put agreements in writing, work with dates and numbers, and raise a problem the day you see it, not at handover.
What we offer
  • Full-time role, based in Denpasar with daily work on sites.
  • Projects for developers and hotels, from first concept to handover.
  • Direct work with the CEO and a set process: fixed estimates, documented scope, clear responsibility on every project.
