Proven experience as a landscape designer or landscape architect, ideally on residential, resort, or hospitality projects.
Strong SketchUp skills: confident 3D modeling for both concept work and detailed design.
Solid, hands-on expertise in plants: tropical and subtropical species, their requirements, and how they perform over time.
A working network of plant nurseries and suppliers, and practical experience in sourcing, specifying, and procuring plant material.
Ability to read and work with architectural drawings and masterplans, and to coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
Good communication skills in English.
Knowledge of Bali's climate zones, soils, and local planting conditions.
Experience with SketchUp rendering plugins or LayOut.
Experience with irrigation, drainage, and site grading.
Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD or similar) and Adobe tools for presentation work.
Experience supervising landscape implementation on site.
Responsibilities :
Develop landscape concepts for site masterplans, in close collaboration with the development and architecture team.
Translate masterplan concepts into detailed landscape designs for individual buildings and plots: gardens, courtyards, pools and water features, entrances, roofscapes, and transitions between indoor and outdoor space.
Produce 3D models and visual studies in SketchUp to test and communicate design ideas.
Select planting palettes suited to the site: species composition, layering, growth behavior, maintenance load, and seasonal character.
Source plants and materials: identify, brief, and coordinate with nurseries and suppliers, compare availability and pricing, and plan procurement for the construction phase.
Advise the team on feasibility, maintenance, and long-term care of the planted environment.
Support the site team during implementation: planting plans, setting out, and quality control of delivered plant material.
