Operating under international standards, they rely on highly specialized laboratory equipment to deliver accurate, reliable, and timely results for multinational clients.

Position: Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ivory Coast (West Africa)

About the Role

The Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Engineer will ensure that all laboratory instruments are well-maintained, calibrated, and fully functional, minimizing downtime and supporting reliable test results. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to train laboratory staff on correct usage of equipment.

Top 5 Must-Haves

• Strong technical knowledge of laboratory equipment (chromatographs, spectrometers, incubators, balances, ovens, etc.).
• Proven track record in preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to calibrate instruments and maintain documentation in line with ISO 17025 requirements.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in equipment maintenance (preferably in laboratory or industrial environments).
• Autonomy, reliability, and capacity to liaise with suppliers and service providers.

Top 3 Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience working in an ISO-accredited laboratory context.
• Familiarity with equipment procurement, installation, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Capacity to support external service interventions or vendor liaison for highly specialized instruments.
