You will be the lab engineer who is responsible for handling lab projects to be perform in test lab after initial discussion is agreed between you and stakeholders. You will work closely with internal team & counterparts in Switzerland to meet companywide KPIs & goals. You will also be the key person to communicate the test progress, test challenge and provide technical summary to the stakeholders in timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Execution of product qualification and evaluation per the lab process including hardware setup readiness, technical analysis, documentation and reporting.
- Development, verification and improvement of test method and test setup.
- Leading lab projects, ability to support team members with technical guidance.
- Troubleshooting of products & test setup, analyzing and root causing the issue.
- Direct support of development engineers and product managers from BUs along with product development process.
- Direct support of quality engineers in case of quality issues.
- Training for new employees within the working field.
- Any supporting task delegated by Team Lead or Lab Coordinators.
- Willing to travel up to 5%.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), sciences, or semiconductor related engineering disciplines.
- Diploma in Engineering/Technical with minimum 2 years of experience in vacuum or semiconductor background.
- Good computer literacy in standard office applications and modern workspace (Teams, D365, cloud storage).
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in semiconductor processing or equipment.
- Software development experience and knowledge in data analytic tools (PLC, TwinCAT, Labview, Phyton, Matlab) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in vacuum technology is a big asset.
- Team player with open communication, international wide, willing to learn and easy to adapt with customize environment.
