We are seeking an experienced KYC Manager to join KPMG Siddharta Advisory. This role plays a key part in supporting client engagements and business by leading KYC and Due Diligence (CDD/EDD) activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and KPMG GQRMM policies and procedures (including AML-CFT policies) while enabling business growth.
What you will do:
- Lead end-to-end KYC, CDD, and EDD processes across client engagements and business processes
- Review and validate KYC assessments and documentation, including high-risk and complex client cases, according to the relevant regulations, guidance and procedures
- Manage and coach a team of KYC analysts, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery
- Act as a key escalation point for KYC-related issues and risk matters
- Liaise with Risk Management and Legal teams to support client onboarding and ongoing reviews
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, firm procedures and policies, and internal risk standards (including AML/CFT policies)
- Support regulatory reviews, internal compliance reviews, and remediation initiatives
- Identify opportunities and initiatives to improve KYC processes, controls, and efficiencies
- Prepare KYC-related reporting and insights for stakeholders
- Support in the development and maintenance of in-house training content for periodic trainings and updates on KYC-related matters
Desired skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 7 to 10 years of experience in KYC, Risk Management or Compliance
- Experience in consulting, banking, or financial services is preferred
- Proven experience managing teams and handling complex or high-risk client cases
- Strong understanding of KYC, CDD/EDD, AML/CFT regulations, and regulatory expectations
- Experience working with cross-border clients and complex ownership structures
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-facing Advisory environment
