Job Description

Job Title: Operations & Business Development Associate

Position Overview

The Logistics Operations & Business Development Associate is responsible for managing the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving growth through international and local market expansion. This role balances technical documentation, operational coordination, and proactive sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • International Trade & Documentation Management

Documentation & Compliance: Accurately prepare and process all essential export-import documents, including PEB, PIB, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading (BL), and Certificates of Origin (COO).

Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all shipment activities strictly adhere to company policies and international customs regulations to facilitate seamless clearance.

Logistics Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, vendors, and customers to coordinate timely shipment arrangements and optimize transit schedules.

  • International Market Development

Global Sales & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential international buyers to market the company's products and logistics services on a global scale.

Incentivized Growth: Actively secure new business opportunities; a performance-based compensation will be awarded for every new international buyer successfully onboarded for the first time.

Client Relationship Management: Maintain professional communication with global clients, providing milestone updates and resolving shipment-related inquiries with high service standards.

  • Local Platform & Operations Support

Platform Sales Management (Incentivized): Manage and optimize job orders via local logistics platforms, ensuring maximum utilization of fleet resources.

Operational Dispatching: Administer and relay order details to warehouse personnel and drivers for efficient pickup, delivery, and post-sales documentation (claim, reimbursement, and recap).

Administrative Support: Assist the operations team with daily logistics activities, record-keeping, and the preparation of operational reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Advanced level of English proficiency.

Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain, or specialization in related fields.

Minimum of 3 years experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, or any related field.

Strong understanding of International Trade and Freight Forwarding procedures.

Proficiency in digital logistics platforms and MS office productivity software.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for both local and international markets.

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple operational deadlines simultaneously.

Possess pristine critical thinking and able to do complex problem solving on a daily basis.
