Job Role

The Vice Principal for Kindergarten supports the Head of Kindergarten in translating strategic school policies into daily operational execution. This role focuses on academic coordination, scheduling, teacher supervision, and ensuring the effective implementation of kindergarten programs aligned with the school's standards and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate school leadership directives into actionable operational plans for kindergarten.
  • Coordinate learning schedules, class activities, and school programs efficiently.
  • Monitor classroom implementation and ensure adherence to teaching standards.
  • Identify and propose necessary learning resources, materials, and tools.
  • Collect performance data of students and staff; prepare progress reports and recommend improvements.
  • Lead coordination meetings and facilitate best-practice sharing among teachers.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between school leadership and teaching staff.
  • Mediate and resolve operational issues or conflicts at the unit level.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Education.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in early childhood education or school operations at strategic/middle management level.
  • Technical Skills: Strong planning, scheduling, time-management, and computer proficiency; ability to lead peers without full authority.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of kindergarten educational standards and assessments.
  • Personality & Character: Service-oriented, trustworthy, courteous, respectful, passionate, and supportive of school programs.
  • Language: Professional-level English for reporting and communication.
