Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Kepala Kamar Mesin, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Kepala Kamar Mesin will be responsible for managing and overseeing the engine room operations, ensuring the safe and efficient running of machinery and equipment on board. Daily tasks will include routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing engine room operations and overseeing machinery maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Relevant certifications in marine engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
