Kafka Admin

We are looking for an experienced Kafka Administrator with in-depth expertise in managing and maintaining Confluent Kafka platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kafka brokers, schema registry, KSQL DB, and Kafka connectors. Proficiency in deploying Kafka on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and a solid understanding of Azure cloud services are essential. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ensure seamless Kafka operations in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and upgrade the Confluent Kafka platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kafka Brokers to maintain optimal performance.
• Administer the Schema Registry and ensure compatibility across producers and consumers.
• Work extensively with KSQL DB, leveraging its capabilities and understanding its underlying implementation.
• Configure and maintain Kafka Connectors, with a deep understanding of their implementation and integration.
• Ensure seamless functioning of Kafka clients, including Producer and Consumer operations.
• Deploy and manage Kafka on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize Kafka deployment and operations in the Azure cloud environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Confluent Kafka platform setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka Brokers, Schema Registry, and KSQL DB.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka Connectors and client operations.
• Experience in deploying Kafka on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and their integration with Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex Kafka issues.
