Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the content team and videographer to brainstorm creative concepts and understand video direction.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality, and cohesive TikTok videos.
  • Create short motion designs, dynamic cuts, and fast-paced edits tailored for social media.
  • ⁠Stay updated on current TikTok trends, viral formats, and popular content.
  • Experiment with new editing techniques, visual styles, and angles to create attention-grabbing content.
  • Manage and maintain video editing tools, software, and equipment.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of creative TikTok content.
  • ⁠Proficient in CapCut editing tools.
  • ⁠Solid understanding of design principles, with a good eye for typography and text layout.
  • ⁠Strong grasp of internet culture, fast-paced editing, tight audio sync, and strong hooks.
  • ⁠Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
  • ⁠A good sense of humor is a big plus (ability to translate comedic timing and memes into video edits).
