Junior Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites and web applications, including back-end (APIs, databases) and front-end (interfaces, tools).
- Ensure projects are delivered according to specifications.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support and maintain existing client platforms.
- Implement responsive designs provided by the design team.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency in PHP (CodeIgniter or Laravel) and JavaScript (experience with Angular is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel) and JavaScript libraries/frameworks.
- Solid understanding of MySQL and relational database design (one-to-many, many-to-many relationships, transactions).
- Familiar with Git for version control.
- Ability to build reporting and filtering features (search, data filters, export to Excel/PDF/CSV).
- Knowledge of inventory management fundamentals (stock in/out, auto stock updates during transactions).
- Experienced in API integration with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, shipping, email/SMS notifications).
- Understanding of system security, common attack vectors, and prevention methods.
- Strong debugging, input validation, and error-handling skills to ensure system stability.
Soft Skills
- Familiarity with scalable web applications, deployment, and maintenance in high-availability environments.
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, Ionic, or React.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Curiosity and eagerness to continuously learn and improve.
- Comfortable working in a WFO environment in Pondok Indah, Jakarta Selatan
