Junior SAP Basis

Job Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration or a related technical role.
• Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and SAP BASIS administration.
• Familiar with on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments (preferably AWS).
• Basic knowledge of SAP system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance checks.
• Basic understanding of SAP user authorization concepts, roles, and profiles.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of SAP HANA database administration.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems used in SAP environments.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, and VPC.
• Basic understanding of SAP transport management (STMS).
• Familiar with SAP monitoring tools (SM21, ST22, ST06, DBACOCKPIT, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily SAP system monitoring and health checks.
• Support SAP BASIS operational activities, including system performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Assist in SAP installation, patching, upgrades, and transport management under supervision.
• Support maintenance of SAP roles and profiles based on approved requests.
• Work closely with IT L1 support, infrastructure team, and SAP functional teams to resolve system issues.
• Responsible for daily system checks, reporting, and escalation to the SAP BASIS Manager when necessary.
• Ensure system availability and stability to support business operations.
