Position: Junior IT Support
Location: South Jakarta, Indonesia (Fully onsite)
Work arrangement: 5 days in a week with possible shifting schedules
Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
Job Description:
- Assist with desktop PC setup and deployment for new employees
- Install and connect hardware components (desktop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, cables, peripherals)
- Perform basic BIOS and hardware checks
- Install and configure Windows OS according to company standards
- Apply Windows security configurations, including:
- Disabling USB data storage and unauthorized removable media
- Applying local security policies and basic system hardening
- Install required standard software and updates
- Follow IT documentation, checklists, and instructions provided by permanent IT staff
- Perform basic testing and verification before device handover
- Accurately record setup status and report issues or exceptions
- Escalate technical problems to permanent IT staff when required
Requirements:
- Min. education: Bachelor's degree (S1/D4) with a relevant major
- Previous work experience/internship in IT support field is a plus
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with Group Policy, local security policies, or endpoint security tools
