About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Embedded System Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or engineers with up to three years of experience who are passionate about embedded systems and Linux-based development. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop, integrate, and troubleshoot embedded software running on Linux platforms and IoT devices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software for embedded Linux systems.

Assist in integrating hardware components with embedded software.

Develop software using C/C++ for embedded applications.

Support IoT device integration and communication with backend systems.

Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Assist in configuring and customizing embedded Linux environments.

Participate in software testing, validation, and system integration.

Create and maintain technical documentation.

Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Continuously learn and adopt new embedded technologies and development tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

0–3 years of experience in Embedded Systems development.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Basic hands-on experience with embedded systems or IoT device integration through university projects, internships, personal projects, or previous employment.

Strong programming skills in C and/or C++ (required).

Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and Linux command line (required).

Understanding of embedded software development fundamentals.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to learn new technologies and work on complex technical challenges.

Good English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Embedded Linux.

Experience using Git for source code management.

Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, MQTT, or TCP/IP.

Exposure to Yocto, OpenWRT, or Linux Device Tree is a plus.

Experience using debugging tools such as GDB or serial console.

Familiarity with Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, STM32, ESP32, or similar embedded platforms.

Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
