Jr. Process Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support manufacturing & engineering projects including factory setup, machine installation, and vehicle/battery assembly.
• Assist senior engineers in design, testing, prototype evaluation, and process improvement activities.
• Develop and improve production processes from prototype stage to mass production ramp-up.
• Perform basic process optimization to enhance efficiency, quality, cost, and workflow.
• Conduct time studies, cycle time analysis, manpower planning, and takt time calculations.
• Create process flow diagrams, layout plans, and material flow optimization for production and warehouse areas.
• Support equipment/tooling selection, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kaizen, and basic Value Stream Mapping.
• Monitor assembly line performance, analyze defects, and support root-cause investigations (5 Why, Fishbone, poka-yoke).
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and ensure compliance with automotive safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; internship or project experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Basic understanding of production processes, assembly operations, and warehouse workflow.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, Kaizen, VSM) is preferred.
• Able to conduct basic time studies and analyze simple operational data.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or basic layout tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving factory/production environment.
• Basic awareness of workplace safety and ergonomics principles.
• Fluent in English is a must
