Jr. Backend Engineer

Ordent is looking for a Backend Engineer (Golang)!

Ordent is a team with focus on web technologies. For more than 6 years, Ordent has helped more than 45 clients from different industries, such as Government, Non-Governmental Organization, Private Sectors, and many more.

What you will be doing :

• Participate in the entire product lifecycle, focusing on design, coding, testing, and debugging;
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and microservices architecture;
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend integrations;
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data structures and queries;
• Implement caching and messaging solutions using Redis and other related technologies;
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Elastic, Kibana, and Grafana;
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Collaborate with DevOps and cross-functional teams to support cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments;
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices;
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues;
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

You may be fit to this role if you :

• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree (S1) in Informatics, Computer Science, or related field;
• Have minimum 1 year of experience in a related field (Relevant internship experience is also considered);
• Proficient in Golang (Go programming language) as the main programming language;
• Familiar with Python for scripting and automation;
• Proficient in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL;
• Proficient in NoSQL databases such as Redis or MongoDB;
• Experienced with Elastic, Kibana, and Grafana monitoring tools;
• Understand microservices architecture and backend system design;
• Comfortable using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS and on-premise environments such as OpenShift;
• Familiar with Git and Bitbucket for version control;
• Experience with n8n or other no-code automation tools is a plus;
• Have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Willing to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment;
• Willing to work onsite at the assigned office location;
• Willing to be placed and work within a banking environment / banking project;
• Willing to work in shifts if required by the project or operational needs.
