Job Placement & Corporate Partnership Officer

This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with partner companies to secure employment opportunities for graduates of the Liberty Society Foundation's vocational training programs. This role bridges the gap between program participants and the job market by identifying suitable employers, matching candidates to open roles, and ensuring successful, sustainable job placements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Development

1. Identify, research, and approach potential partner companies across relevant industries to create job placement opportunities for program graduates.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of hiring partners through outreach, networking, industry associations, job fairs, and employer events.
3. Present the foundation's vocational training programs, graduate profiles, and value proposition to potential employer partners.
4. Develop and negotiate partnership agreements (MOUs) with companies for recruitment, internship, or direct hiring pathways.
5. Represent the foundation in meetings, forums, and events to expand employer networks and visibility of the program.

Placement & Candidate Management

1. Match qualified program graduates with suitable job openings based on skills, interests, and employer requirements.
2. Coordinate the end-to-end placement process: candidate referral, interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer follow-up.
3. Prepare graduates for the hiring process through briefings on employer expectations, interview readiness, and workplace conduct.
4. Track placement outcomes and maintain updated records of graduate employment status.
5. Provide after-placement support and follow-up with both graduates and employers to ensure retention and satisfaction.

Relationship & Reporting

1. Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with partner companies, HR contacts, and hiring managers.
2. Manage partnership and placement documentation, CRM/database updates, and outreach tracking.
3. Prepare regular reports on placement rates, partnership growth, and program impact for internal and donor reporting purposes.
4. Collaborate with the program team to align curriculum with market/industry needs based on employer feedback.
5. Work with the Marketing to document placement success stories and testimonials.

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, social work, communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, business development, partnership management, or a similar role (experience in the social sector/NGO is a plus).
3. Strong interpersonal and networking skills; comfortable approaching and building relationships with companies of various sizes.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
5. Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently to meet placement targets.
6. Empathetic and understanding of the challenges faced by vocational training graduates from underserved communities.
7. Comfortable with fieldwork and meeting employers/partners/beneficiary in person.
8. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and familiarity with CRM or database tools.
9. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple candidate/employer relationships simultaneously.
