Role Description The Japanese Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Ciracas, East Jakarta. The role includes planning and delivering Japanese language lessons for learners at various levels, using suitable teaching methods and materials. Daily tasks involve preparing lesson plans, instructing classes, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will create a supportive classroom environment, encourage active participation, and adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning styles. Additional responsibilities may include collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, maintaining student records, and participating in school or company educational activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Japanese Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven ability to instruct learners of different proficiency levels.
- Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, goal-oriented learning activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT Min N3 certification or equivalent is an advantage) and good command of Indonesian and/or English.
- Relevant degree in Education, Japanese Language, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience teaching in classroom settings, especially in Indonesia or similar contexts, is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ciracas, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and maintain a professional, learner-centered approach.
