Role Description This is a remote, contract role for Japanese ⇄ English Interpreters working on an hourly rate basis. Interpreters will provide real-time interpretation between Japanese and English for calls, virtual meetings, and online sessions, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication. Day-to-day tasks include listening to and conveying spoken information clearly, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to client-specific terminology and guidelines. Interpreters may support clients in areas such as customer service, business discussions, technical consultations, and training sessions. The role requires consistent punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to manage schedules and assignments independently in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 months- 3 years of professional interpretation experience

(this is a must, Also make sure you add your Interpretation Experience in your resume to be considered )

• Specialization: Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
• Flexibility: Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.
• Professionalism: High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

Technical Requirements and certificates:

• Professional , HIPAA compliant Setup
• Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
• At least 10Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
