(Jakarta-Based) Cambridge / IB / Pearson Tutors (Premium – International Schools)

Role Description

This role focuses on supporting students from leading international and bilingual schools across Jakarta through in-home and online tutoring, delivering personalized and results-driven learning experiences.

Tutors will work closely with students following Cambridge, IB, and Pearson curricula, providing academic support, exam preparation, and structured lesson planning aligned with each student's school requirements.

Tutors MUST live in or around Jakarta and work full-time in Jakarta.

Tutors MUST primarily teach in the student's house; this is not an online tutoring job.

Tutors MUST possess Cambridge, IB, or Pearson curriculum subjects and attach certificates.

In addition to teaching, tutors are expected to:

• Provide brief progress updates to parents
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and punctuality
• Adapt lessons to individual student needs and learning styles

Qualifications

• Proficiency in teaching core Cambridge, IB, or Pearson curriculum subjects

MUST attach certificates to be considered.

• Strong skills in academic mentoring, lesson planning, and student progress assessment
• Experience with examination preparation and skills-building for international curricula
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, Science, or a related field
• Ability to engage with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods to individual needs
• Experience working with international or bilingual schools is preferred

Valid certificates

For IB applicants:

• IB PYP / MYP / DP / CP certifications

For Cambridge applicants:

• Cambridge Introductory or Extended certifications

• Official Cambridge Professional Development programmes

• Cambridge specialist pedagogy certifications

• TKT / CELTA / DELTA qualifications

• ELT-related internationally recognised certifications
