Company Overview:
Our Client is the professional AI platform built specifically for construction and backed by leading Silicon Valley venture capitalists.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join their rapidly growing team. You will own the operational machine behind a fast-moving AI engineering team split across the US and Indonesia. You will run the systems that turn engineering capacity into shipped product, on time, with no surprises
This is not a senior developer role with PM responsibilities added on. They are looking for someone whose entire job is to keep the engineering machine running well: tracking velocity, surfacing blockers before they become fires, holding leads accountable to their commitments, and protecting the team's focus
What We're Looking For
- Builder mindset – has created PM frameworks, operating rhythms, dashboards, or delivery processes rather than simply managing established Agile ceremonies.
- Bias for action – able to make decisions quickly under ambiguity and tight timelines without waiting for perfect information.
- Drives accountability – holds cross-functional stakeholders accountable and escalates appropriately instead of personally owning every problem.
- Strong executive presence – comfortable challenging senior leadership with data and providing clear recommendations when necessary.
- Business-oriented – measures success through business outcomes, delivery predictability, and operational excellence rather than solely sprint velocity or story points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and run the engineering operating cadence (sprint planning, check-ins, reviews) while maintaining a clear, real-time view of team progress, blockers, and risks.
- Drive visibility through data by building dashboards and tracking key metrics (velocity, cycle time, delivery rates) to proactively flag risks before deadlines slip.
- Ensure accountability and execution discipline by leading effective standups, retrospectives, and following up on commitments with clear outcomes.
- Act as a strategic partner to engineering leadership, pushing back on scope and priorities using data when teams are at capacity.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with product, design, sales, and other stakeholders, including managing launch readiness and protecting engineering from low-value work.
- Continuously improve systems and processes, documenting workflows, refining team rituals, and driving learning through retrospectives and post-mortems
Must-Have
- Experience5–10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, or - -Engineering Program Management.
- Experience in early-stage startups or high-growth technology companies, with proven ability to build processes, governance, and operating cadence from scratch.
- Strong technical understanding with experience partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams.
- Availability during Indonesian business hours with overlap into US Pacific Time
If you are a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for engineering and program management, we would love to hear from you. Join the team and be a part of our mission to drive success for our clients through innovative talent solutions.
