About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team onsite in Purbalingga. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support to ensure the efficient operation of our IT systems. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new devices, and maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, resolving them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
- Manage and support network configurations, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations, access permissions, and accounts.
- Document technical issues, support requests, and resolutions to improve the efficiency of IT support processes.
- Ensure the security of systems by implementing best practices and following company policies.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and commonly used software applications.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist users of all technical levels.
