About The Role
We are seeking an
IT Support Officer who will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, maintaining IT equipment, ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding processes, and delivering exceptional service to all internal users. This role is ideal for someone who is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user problems across Windows and macOS environments.
- Log and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system in accordance with SLA.
- Prepare and configure IT assets for new employees (laptops, monitors, phones, email access, and system logins).
- Support routine system maintenance and scheduled updates.
- Deliver user training and guidance for IT applications and basic system operations.
- Manage asset lifecycle including issuance, retrieval, documentation, and inspection.
- Perform secure account deactivation and equipment collection during employee offboarding.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and endpoint security compliance.
- Monitor office network performance to ensure stable connectivity and access readiness (ID cards, printers, door access, etc.).
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Experience in IT support, service desk, or technical troubleshooting role.
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.).
- Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills with a user-focused support mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
- Knowledge of endpoint security tools and device compliance.
- Experience with access control systems and office network monitoring.
- Previous exposure to onboarding/offboarding processes within corporate environments.
