Job Description

About The Role

We are seeking an IT Support Officer who will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, maintaining IT equipment, ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding processes, and delivering exceptional service to all internal users. This role is ideal for someone who is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user problems across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Log and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system in accordance with SLA.
  • Prepare and configure IT assets for new employees (laptops, monitors, phones, email access, and system logins).
  • Support routine system maintenance and scheduled updates.
  • Deliver user training and guidance for IT applications and basic system operations.
  • Manage asset lifecycle including issuance, retrieval, documentation, and inspection.
  • Perform secure account deactivation and equipment collection during employee offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and endpoint security compliance.
  • Monitor office network performance to ensure stable connectivity and access readiness (ID cards, printers, door access, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience in IT support, service desk, or technical troubleshooting role.
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills with a user-focused support mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools and device compliance.
  • Experience with access control systems and office network monitoring.
  • Previous exposure to onboarding/offboarding processes within corporate environments.
