IT Support Intern (Hardware Focus)

Job Descriptions:

IT Intern will offer hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting company hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)

2. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of hardware devices

3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues for end-users

4. Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT hardware assets

5. Support hardware lifecycle activities, including disposal and replacement

6. Document support activities and contribute to knowledge base articles

7. Collaborate with IT staff to ensure optimal hardware performance and compliance with company policies

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

2. Basic understanding of computer hardware components and peripherals

3. Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and macOS

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

5. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

6. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
