PT Kredit Biro Indonesia Jaya (Credit Bureau Indonesia, CBI) as one of the private credit bureaus in Indonesia has been established since 2014 and obtained an operational license from Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) as
Lembaga Pengelola Informasi Perkreditan (LPIP) in 2015.
In November 2021, after obtaining approval from OJK, CBI received additional capital from shareholders and appointed a new management team, which aims to provide new and leading-edge services and products. This new identity will also strengthen CBI's position as the best-in-class, modern and innovative credit bureau in Indonesia.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IT Security Specialist to strengthen CBI's IT governance and cybersecurity framework, safeguard our applications and technology infrastructure, and ensure full compliance with ISO 27001 and ISO 27701. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in computer and network security, IT governance, cybersecurity practices, SIEM operations, and the OWASP Top 10, supported by excellent English communication skills and a continuous learning mindset.
Job Description
- Prevent data breaches and ensure the security of CBI's applications, systems, and technology devices.
- Implement, review, and optimize security systems and tools to maintain effective performance and protection.
- Monitor and assess application security, responding promptly to security alerts, incidents, and potential threats.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 27001 (ISMS) and ISO 27701 (PMIS) standards.
- Strengthen IT security governance by managing and optimizing cybersecurity tools, controls, and related processes.
- Perform SIEM operations by monitoring security logs, detecting anomalies, and escalating potential risks as needed.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments aligned with OWASP Top 10 and implement mitigation measures to address common attack vectors.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience and proven proficiency in computer and network security systems, preferably within the financial services or banking industry.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, with additional knowledge of basic cryptography and cryptographic algorithms considered a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, or ISO 27001 (ISMS) are highly preferred.
- Experience participating in or supporting ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 audits, with prior involvement in coordinating or working closely with auditors considered an advantage.
- Strong interest in IT security, with a continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
