As an IT Security Engineer Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the companys IT infrastructure by implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security systems. You will play a crucial role in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats while ensuring compliance with IT security policies.
Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and monitor security systems and infrastructure to protect company data and assets.
- Operate and maintain security tools such as antivirus, anti-malware, anti-spam, and anti-DDoS solutions.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and SIEM.
- Conduct security analysis on network topology, firewalls, proxies, DMZ, patching, and vulnerability testing.
- Perform and support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
- Analyze logs, events, and alerts from various security monitoring tools to identify threats.
- Manage SSL certificates and ensure secure communication channels.
- Support the enforcement and implementation of IT security policies and standards.
- Provide technical support in incident handling and forensic investigation when security breaches occur.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: D3/S1 in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT security or related field.
- Willing to work in shifting schedule.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure security systems.
- Proficient in antivirus, anti-malware, anti-spam, and anti-DDoS solutions.
- Skilled in Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, WAF, and SIEM.
- Capable of configuring and analyzing network & security topology (Firewall, WAF, Antivirus, Antispam, Proxy, DMZ, patching, vulnerability & penetration testing).
- Strong ability to analyze and respond to network & security monitoring tools.
- Proficient in log, event, and alert analysis.
- Good understanding of SSL certificates and implementation.
- Knowledge of IT policies, governance, and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
