IT Security Consultant

At a high level, the project involves the migration of users and endpoints across multiple Banking entities and countries as part of a broader Microsoft security transformation initiative.

The scope includes deploying and supporting Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Purview, and associated security services, covering onboarding, migration, stabilization, and subsequent support operations.

The endpoint migration includes transitioning different devices from existing security products, including Trend Micro, Trellix, Forcepoint, Symantec, and Digital Guardian, to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Antivirus, including MDE AV installation.

We are seeking suitable candidates with expertise in one of them or more:

• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA)
• Microsoft Purview, particularly:

› Information Protection

› Data Loss Prevention

› Insider Risk Management

› Data Lifecycle Management

The selected resources will support the project across the implementation and managed support phases

Main Requirements:

• Should have strong experience of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience with endpoint onboarding, health checks and troubleshooting.
• Experience migrating endpoints from third-party antivirus or EDR tools to MDE.
• Working knowledge of EDR, Defender Antivirus, ASR, Device Control and Web Protection.
• Able to implement MDE policies, analyse issues and validate endpoint security controls.
• We look for mainly Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (Anti Virus), please dont submit candidate with Intune Experience
• Candidate must be from IT Security backgrounds, not Infrastructure, Operations or IT Helpdesk (Must be able to explain detailed about MDE technically & make sure the candidate not talking on other Products other then MDE, Purview & MDCA)

Basic English is mandatory, because the interviews will be conducted in english.

This role will be WFO, with Office Hour support with Banking Company as clients.
