IT Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end management of IT projects, including scope definition, resource planning, budget tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on project size, complexity, and stakeholder needs.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) or Waterfall stage gates as required.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, QA, security, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Monitor project progress, identify risks or blockers early, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.

Maintain and manage project documentation, status reports, and executive dashboards.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Foster continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and optimizing project processes.

Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI is required.

Min 5+ years of experience in IT project management.

Proven experience managing projects in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe), and Waterfall best practices.

Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or equivalent.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master [CSM], PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist).

Experience in software development, cloud migration, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects.

Familiarity with risk management tools, resource allocation, and financial tracking.

Knowledge of ITIL or experience working in IT service management environments.
